Ronaldo buys new Hotel in Monaco

Christiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo certainly isn't short of a penny or two—and it appears the Real Madrid superstar is investing in his future by building a significant property portfolio.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the Portuguese star has purchased a hotel in the "most exclusive area" of Monte Carlo. The cost? A cool €140 million (£105 million).
The deal for the exclusive property—which is a collaboration between an Italian real estate agent and American presidential nominee Donald Trump—was reportedly completed last week.
This is not Ronaldo's only property connection to Trump: The 30-year-old reportedly purchased an $18.5 million (£13 million) apartment in New York's Trump Tower in August 2015.
