Hearts of oak is like a ''TOY''- Harry Zakkour

Former Hearts of Oak Board Chief, Harry Zakkour, also known as ''the millineum chairman'' has bewailed the recent managerial crisis in the club, pointing fingers at management and board of toying with the team.

Mr Zakkour’s concern comes in the wake of the resignation of Managing Director Gerald Ankrah after 15 months in office.Mr Ankrah, who resigned on Monday January 25, was reportedly fed up with the interference from the board members and the newly-formed strategic committee headed by Vincent Sowah-Odotei.

“I had a call last night that said Gerald Ankrah has resigned and I was surprised. Surprised because he is a good person and I think he could have done the job,” Harry Zakkour told Accra-based Class FM
“The club is looking like a toy, there is no spirit in the club”. he added

Widespread media reports have linked politician Vincent Sowah Odotei to Gerard Ankrah’s seat but Zakkour insists the high turnover of managers in the club is only a backward step.
