FEATURE: Meet the 'white men' in the GPL and their performances so far as we enter into Matchday 3.

The Ghana premier league has been exciting so far with some scintillating performances our 16 teams. Osportsgh take you through the performance so far of the expatriates  gracing our league.

#1 KENICHI YATSUHATSI – Undoubtedly the best so far , winning 2 games out of 2 ,scoring 3 goals with a 100% record as he beat New Edubiase at home and Medeama away from home. The American-Japanese is the new exciting figure in our GPL right now.Is of no surprise that the Japanese community in Ghana is in full support of their country man and for the phobia fraternity he is the new ‘’king Kenny’’ of the Ghanaian game. Accra Hearts of oak takes on Dwarfs at the Accra Sports stadium, a game that looks more like Kenny will be doing 3 out of 3.

#2 JOHN KILLA – John started very well beating Kumasi Asante Kotoko by 2-0 and displaying some very fine football to the Ghanaian football fans on match day 1.  Though lost to Berekum Chelsea last week, winning 1and loosing 1 out of two is not so bad a performance from the Dutch trainer. They take on Sekondi Hasaacas on Sunday , the giants boosted by the confidence of ex-goal king Eric Bekoe seems to be a tough game for the Sogakope lads.

#3 TOM STRAND – Poised and with high hopes to beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday, Tom Strand has been in a serious pressure after ‘bitterly’ tasting the first two games of GPL. The FA cup winner is yet to get a point after losing to Ashgold and at home to Hearts of oak. Strand’s Medeama travel to Kumasi to take on a hungry Kumasi Asante Kotoko who needs all three points at all cost having lost disappointedly to WAFA on day 1. More pressure seem like mounting on the Swede after Sunday’s game.
